Agya Chakra
Agya (Ajna) Chakra
The Agya
Chakra is next upwards to the Visshuddha Chakra.
In the Āgyā Chakra, the
advancement of our insight and mankind reached the bridge to Divine
Consciousness. It is situated at the upper finish of the spinal segment,
physically recognizable between the eyebrows. It is also called the
"Eyebrow Center" or "Third Eye". It's also known as
"Guru Chakra".
“Agya” means “to order”. It is also called Eyebrow Chakra. It symbolizes wisdom and discrimination between truth and untruth. It is located on the sixth rung in the Kundalini ascension path of six chakras (seventh being the destination).
It’s
associated with Guru Tattva, the Divine Principle of the development of consciousness.
The Guru addresses the widespread, divine rule that drives us from darkness to
light – which implies from ignorance to true knowledge, and from death to
eternality. The “Guru
Principle” awakened in the consciousness
of the disciple helps him to guide
himself. By the awakening of this chakra, the disciple becomes his own master.
Unless Agya Chakra is awakened, we are often not capable to know ourselves. We are constantly under the control of the thoughts and emotions that arise from the lower centers,.We feel uncertain and perplexed because we lack control over our minds and wrongly identify with the constantly changing emotions and thoughts.
The
functioning of the organs in the face region Pineal Gland, eyes, ears, nose… come
under the purview of Agya Chakra.
An
imbalance here can cause issues related to the eyes, ears, nose problems. Lack
of clarity of thoughts and indecisiveness, brain fog, etc. are associated with this chakra.
Perfection
of this chakra endows one with certain psychic powers like clairvoyance,
clairaudience, telepathy, telekinesis…
