Visshudha Chakra

   The Visshudha Chakra is next upwards from the Anahata Chakra. It’s derived from “Vish” (Poison) and “Shhudh” (Pure). It is also called Throat Chakra. It symbolizes creativity and self-expression. It is located on the fifth rung in the Kundalini ascension path of six chakras (seventh being the destination). This chakra is associated with the purification, balancing, and harmonizing at the physical, mental and spiritual levels.  A person’s ability to express himself and communicate effectively is related to this chakra. It deals with the issues of the purification of our breath, food, our thoughts, and emotions.
